Mr. Obama? a note for you!

Dear Mr. President..




i am writing to you to voice my concerns with the direction you are taking this country. you're, as you say,(and i quote) "Fundamentally Transforming America". i feel, like a growing number of Americans that you are heading this nation in the wrong direction and are attempting to turn America into a more socialized nation and that sir is just NOT acceptable for America.


the government involvement in the takeover of the auto industry, the banking industry, your attempt at nationalizing the health care industry, your addition without confirmation by congress of Czars. most of which have un-American ideologies such as Marxist, communist, and some truly radical tendencies.


the assault being mounted by some in your administration on the 1st amendment, the 2nd amendment is appalling and blatantly un-constitutional..
you have spent or authorized to be spent more money (that belongs to American citizens, Not the government)than ALL previous administrations from George Washington thru George W. Bush COMBINED, placing a debt on future generations that haven't even been born yet.


it just seems to me that if the Founding Fathers were alive today to see what your attempting to do to the America they created and dreamt of that they would not be treading so lightly in light of all the assaults being made on the Constitution. a document that they risked theirs freedoms, their lives and their future to create and to implement as the blueprint for this great nation to be governed by. it is not a living document to be reworked by you and your administration. it is nothing more and nothing less than an un-breakable contract between the People of the United States and the Government who work FOR the people. it is a guideline that the government over the last few Administrations has seen fit to usurp at every opportunity in order to further their own agenda. and that sir is (in my humble opinion) bordering on Treason. at the very least it is by virtue Un-American...


i think it is time for the American people by using the power of the Vote to take back what belongs to We The People... it is time for us to peacefully yet powerfully remove all incumbent congressional seat holders from their post. and replace them with Patriots who will remember that they work for the American people and not some special interest, that they are to represent the will of American citizens to the halls of congress and to the president, not impose their ideology and will upon us... you are all in your TEMPORARY posts by the will of the American people. and it is the American people that you work for. but it seems that all of you have lost that vision and have one of your own. but i say to you sir. your Vision for America is NOT the vision the American people have and your approval numbers ought to show you that. so i would suggest that even in light of your plummeting overall approval numbers if you continue in the direction your heading with OUR country. that you sir, simply do not care what We the People think.


in closing sir i will leave you with a small paragraph from the Declaration of Independence that (again in my humble opinion) applies to the current situation with our government.


When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.




you see Mr. President it's no longer about Democrats or Republicans or any other political party. it is about AMERICA! so please read these words and remember we are all watching. and come election day true CHANGE is coming!Obama, constitution, Declaration of Independence, election 2012, Founding Fathers

The Root of all Evil

The phrase "Money is the root of all evil" is such a common saying that most people consider it fact. Although the relentless pursuit of money is an action exhibited by some evil people, "the root of all evil" is something much deeper. If evil could be described as a phrase it would be called "the lust for power"


Over 99% of the human beings who came before us lived under tyranny, dictatorships, monarchies, religious doctrines, etc. Their governments we're established and enforced by a few select people who, by right of blood and lineage, had decided they knew what was best for the people they were "born to rule". Governments like this still exist in Syria, Iran, China and North Korea to name a few. The United States Of America was born out of rebellion to this type of government, in our case Great Britain.


In the history of man, no nation has ever survived the test of time after allowing the people to govern themselves. What makes us different? Why have we survived 236 years and become the most powerful nation in the world after allowing the masses to rule the self? The difference is profound and yet simple. Human beings are imperfect. We have the potential for amazing acts of kindness and we are simultaneously capable of unimaginable cruelty. Human beings trusted with unchecked power over others will almost always succumb to the darker side of human nature. No one is perfect. Our founding fathers understood this. That is what makes us different. Our constitution is written to counteract the ambition of individual selfishness inherent to mankind.


As people struggled to unite the thirteen colonies and ratify a constitution, there was a series of essays published known as "the federalist papers". They were the original argument for the constitution as we know It and if you haven't read them, I highly recommend you do. For the purposes of this topic I quote the following from Federalist #51:


"If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself."


This was written well over 200 years ago. Human nature does not change. People cannot govern themselves if they refuse to admit the imperfection inherent in the human condition. Anyone who denies this universal truth makes their imperfection even more obvious. They (politicians, media celebrities, news pundits,etc.) should be scrutinized to the fullest extent when they ask (if they ask) for the power to control your thoughts, feelings and actions. They lust for power over you. Power over your thoughts, your feelings and your money.


Our republic was designed to keep power from those in power and yet now, so many people are willing to give power to the government in exchange for a free pass for a life of guaranteed mediocracy. If human beings are perfect, why are so many willing to exchange responsibility for security? Why are so many willing to give up essential liberty for personal security? To give up the opportunity for unimaginable success in order to avoid failure? I am not perfect. I feel the persuasion of laziness and government handouts but I realize I can never truly succeed on the government dole. There are no skills learned by government welfare. No raises, promotions or retirement plans (that won't go broke anyways). Government does me a disservice by addicting me to their handouts in exchange for votes. I will not give them what they want. We cannot give them that power.


The relentless lust for power is the root of all evil. Money is just one way to do it. Being a government official is another. I'm not saying you should ignore big business and the tax loopholes they achieve through lobbyists, I'm just saying that you should not ignore the government. They have an agenda too, regardless of what they say to your face.

the Affirmative Action POTUS

i found this and decided to share it here! this is an article penned by Matt Patterson who has written for both liberal and conservative publications. so credit goes to mr. Patterson for the content of this blogpost i simply and completely agree with him!

Years from now, historians may regard the 2008 election of Barack Obama as an inscrutable and disturbing phenomenon, a baffling breed of mass hysteria akin perhaps to the witch craze of the Middle Ages.  How, they will wonder, did a man so devoid of professional accomplishment beguile so many into thinking he could manage the world's largest economy, direct the world's most powerful military, execute the world's most consequential job?
Imagine a future historian examining Obama's pre-presidential life: ushered into and through the Ivy League despite unremarkable grades and test scores along the way; a cushy non-job as a "community organizer"; a brief career as a state legislator devoid of legislative achievement (and in fact nearly devoid of his attention, so often did he vote "present"); and finally an unaccomplished single term in United States Senate, the entirety of which was devoted to his presidential ambitions.  He left no academic legacy in academia, authored no signature legislation as a legislator.
And then there is the matter of his troubling associations: the white-hating, America-loathing preacher who for decades served as Obama's "spiritual mentor"; a real-life, actual terrorist who served as Obama's colleague and political sponsor.  It is easy to imagine a future historian looking at it all and asking: how on Earth was such a man elected president?
Not content to wait for history, the incomparable Norman Podhoretz addressed the question recently in the Wall Street Journal

"To be sure, no white candidate who had close associations with an outspoken hater of America like Jeremiah Wright and an unrepentant terrorist like Bill Ayers would have lasted a single day. But because Mr. Obama was black, and therefore entitled in the eyes of liberaldom to have hung out with protesters against various American injustices, even if they were a bit extreme, he was given a pass."

Let that sink in: Obama was given a pass -- held to a lower standard -- because of the color of his skin.  Podhoretz continues:

"And in any case, what did such ancient history matter when he was also articulate and elegant and (as he himself had said) "non-threatening," all of which gave him a fighting chance to become the first black president and thereby to lay the curse of racism to rest?"

Podhoretz puts his finger, I think, on the animating pulse of the Obama phenomenon -- affirmative action.  Not in the legal sense, of course.  But certainly in the motivating sentiment behind all affirmative action laws and regulations, which are designed primarily to make white people, and especially white liberals, feel good about themselves.  Unfortunately, minorities often suffer so that whites can pat themselves on the back.  Liberals routinely admit minorities to schools for which they are not qualified, yet take no responsibility for the inevitable poor performance and high drop-out rates which follow.  Liberals don't care if these minority students fail; liberals aren't around to witness the emotional devastation and deflated self esteem resulting from the racist policy that is affirmative action.  Yes, racist.  Holding someone to a separate standard merely because of the color of his skin -- that's affirmative action in a nutshell, and if that isn't racism, then nothing is.  And that is what America did to Obama. True, Obama himself was never troubled by his lack of achievements, but why would he be?  As many have noted, Obama was told he was good enough for Columbia despite undistinguished grades at Occidental; he was told he was good enough for the US Senate despite a mediocre record in Illinois; he was told he was good enough to be president despite no record at all in the Senate.  All his life, every step of the way, Obama was told he was good enough for the next step, in spite of ample evidence to the contrary.  What could this breed if not the sort of empty  narcissism on display every time Obama speaks?
In 2008, many who agreed that he lacked executive qualifications nonetheless raved about Obama's oratory skills, intellect, and cool character.  Those people -- conservatives included -- ought now to be deeply embarrassed.  The man thinks and speaks in the hoariest of clichés, and that's when he has his teleprompter in front of him; when the prompter is absent he can barely think or speak at all.  Not one original idea has ever issued from his mouth -- it's all warmed-over Marxism of the kind that has failed over and over again for 100 years. And what about his character?  Obama is constantly blaming anything and everything else for his troubles.  Bush did it; it was bad luck; I inherited this mess.  It is embarrassing to see a president so willing to advertise his own powerlessness, so comfortable with his own incompetence.  But really, what were we to expect?  The man has never been responsible for anything, so how do we expect him to act responsibly?

In short: our president is a small and small-minded man, with neither the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job.  When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense.  It could not have gone otherwise with such a man in the Oval Office. But hey, at least we got to feel good about ourselves for a little while.  And really, isn't that all that matters these days?

California Primary Alert~ Prop 28 Term Limits


Here is one of the propositions California will be voting on this election! CA. Proposition 28
I highlight this one because it is in regards to term limits on law makers here in California,  and is what Americans should be demanding be applied at the federal level.

I will go one further and install into this a lemon clause, Whereas the lawmaker has 4 years. two (2) terms in the House or one (1) term in the senate to prove you meant what you campaigned on, otherwise a special election is held to replace you!

And i could go on in regards to the penalties imposed upon you for mis-representing your character to get elected.

But that is for another day...

to WeThePeople

What America needs, is her people as one voice demand of itself the will to expect more from themselves and unleash the courage to empower themselves to act on that courage! History s shown that tyranny only understands a people when they speak with
 one vision! The Vision we should be speaking with is that of Liberty &Freedom thru Faith in the American peoples will to take responsibility for their destiny and the future they hand over to our children! We are charged with providing a better life for our children, Not through irresponsible behavior relegate them to involuntary servitude. The Greatness of America will be her savior, if only we find within ourselves the integrity of courage and the faith to take that leap!

Please America, i beg of You. Find the courage and will to face that which is right in front of you so that all of our children have the same kind of America we were children in!

Is that not our duty as parents and as Americans? Well i think so....

The Real War on Women



If you truly believe that conservatives and republicans are waging a "war on women", please consider this...


Shuria law is a form of government established by the religious beliefs of Islam as described in the Quran. Government and religion are one. Islam believes women are property that are subservient and belong to men. Muslim women under Shuria law are not allowed an education, they are forced to marry whomever their father chooses, they cannot show their face to other men, etc. If they violate any of these religious rules they are jailed, tortured and often killed in the name of honor if it's discovered they have had sex before marriage, even if they were raped. The rapist has no consequences 9 times out of 10, because to them a mans word is worth more than a women's. Young women can be lawfully executed in the name of honor if their father feels shamed by their actions or disrespected in a way that negates their religious beliefs. Or perhaps they are buried in the ground up to their shoulders while a mob takes turns throwing stones at their head.


China has a one child per family policy. As a result, their government forces young women to have abortions and unlawful children are sold or killed after birth to avoid persecution. Anyone who stands up for a women's right to choose in China is (like the Chinese activist all over the news) beaten and jailed or put on house arrest. Their government threatens their wife and children as leverage. Freedom of speech is all but non existent. Why are our progressive brothers not concerned with this? They claim Republicans have declared a "war on women" and yet they embrace Islam and pander to an oppressive communist government. It seems like they don't care about women at all unless it helps democrats get elected or stay in office.


Where was their outrage when Sarah Palin and her daughters were being slandered with charges of stupidity, promiscuity and ignorance? I know exactly where they were. They were on TV telling us how an untested community organizer, now freshman senator could be a better President than a decrepid old man and a dumb cheerleader hockey mom from Alaska. Hope and Change has become Divide and Blame. Gas prices have doubled. Five trillion has been added to the national debt by a man who said he would cut the debt in half during his first term. Bin Laden has been killed as a result of intelligence gathering operations that started under the Bush administration which Obama opposed from the start. We've stopped water boarding terrorists for information (in the name of ethical standards) and now we just kill them with predator drones. Actions always speak louder than words unless your not watching. Don't be fooled by the magicians. While their distracting you with one hand, their playing tricks on you with the other.
Every time.

John Adams speach in support of the Declaration of Independence

this was brought to my attention inadvertently through my fellow blogger Nick Moreno. it is thought to be the speech that John Adams gave to the members of the continental congress after the final signature was added to the Declaration of Independence and Americas future as a sovereign nation was set in motion..



I can only imagine the emotion that accompanied this speech on that fateful day! and if Americans today could even remotely fathom the sacrifice these great men put forth in order to form a more perfect union, no one alive today would take for granted the freedom and liberty our founders gave so greatly for!

Here is the text of Mr. Adams speech from that historic day....


SINK or swim, live or die, survive or perish, I give my hand and my heart to this vote. It is true, indeed, that in the beginning we aimed not at independence. But there is a Divinity which shapes our ends. The injustice of England has driven us to arms; and, blinded to her own interest and 0ur good she has 0bstinately persisted, till independence is now within 0ur grasp. We have but to reach forth to it, and it is ours. Why, then, should we defer the Declaration? Is any man so weak as now to hope for a reconciliation with England, which shall leave neither safety to- the country and its liberties, nor safety to his life and his own honor? Are you not, sir, who sit in that chair, is not he, 0ur venerable colleague near you, are you not both already the proscribed and predestined objects of punishment and of vengeance? Cut off from all hope of royal clemency, what are you, what can you be, while the power of England remains, but outlaws?

If we postpone independence, do we mean to carry on or give up the war? Do we mean to submit to the measures of Parliament, Boston Port-Bill and all? Do we mean to submit, and consent that we ourselves shall be ground to powder, and our country and its rights trodden down in the dust? I know we do not mean to submit. We never shall submit. D0 we mean to violate that most solemn obligation ever entered into by men, that plighting before God, of our sacred honor to Washington, when, putting him forth to incur the dangers 0f war, as well as the political hazards of the times, we promised to adhere to him, in every extremity, with our fortunes and our lives? I know there is not a man here, who would not rather see a general conflagration sweep over the land, or an earthquake sink it, than one jot or tittle of that plighted faith fall to the ground. For myself, having, twelve months ago, in this place, moved you, that George Washington be appointed commander of the forces raised, or to be raised, for defense 0f American liberty, may my right hand forget her cunning, and my tongue cleave t0 the roof of my mouth, if I hesitate or waver in the support I give him.
The war, then, must go on. We must fight it through. And if the war must go o n, why put off longer the Declaration of Independence? That measure will strengthen us. It will give us character abroad. The nations will then treat with us, which they never can do while we acknowledge ourselves subjects in arms against our sovereign. Nay, I maintain that England herself will sooner treat for peace with us on the footing of independence than consent, by repealing her Acts, to acknowledge that her whole conduct toward us has been a course of injustice and oppression. Her pride will be less wounded by submitting to that course of things which now predestinates our independence than by yielding the points in controversy to her rebellious subjects. The former she would regard as the result of fortune; the latter she would feel as her own deep disgrace. Why, then, why, then, sir, do we not as soon as possible change this from a civil to a national war? And, since we must fight it through, why not put ourselves in a state to enjoy all the benefits of victory, if we gain the victory?
If we fail, it can be no worse for us. But we shall not fail. The cause will raise up armies ; the cause will create navies. The people, the people, if we are true to them, will carry us, and will carry themselves, gloriously through the struggle. I care not how fickle other people have been found. I know the people of these Colonies, and I know that resistance to British aggression is deep and settled in their hearts, and cannot be eradicated. Every Colony, indeed, has expressed its willingness to follow, if we but take the lead,
Sir, the Declaration will inspire the people with in-creased courage. Instead of a long and bloody war for restoration 0f privileges, for redress of grievances, for chartered immunities, held under a British King, set before them the gloriousness of entire in-dependence, and it will breathe into them anew the breath of life. Read this Declaration at the head of the army ; every sword will be drawn from its scab-bard, and the solemn vow uttered to maintain it, or to perish on the bed of honor. Publish it from the pulpit; religion will approve it, and the love of religious liberty will cling round it, resolved to stand with it, or fall with it. Send it to the public halls ; proclaim it there ; let them hear it who heard the first roar of the enemy's cannon ; let them see it who saw their brothers and their sons fall on the field of Bunker Hill, and in the streets of Lexington and Concord, and the very walls will cry 0ut in its support.
But whatever may be our fate, be assured, be assured that this Declaration will stand. It may cost treasure, and it may cost blood, but it will stand, and it will richly compensate for both. Through the thick gloom of the present, I see the brightness of the future, as the sun in heaven. We shall make this a glorious, an immortal day. When we are in our graves, our children will honor it. They will celebrate it with thanksgiving, with festivity, with bonfires and illuminations. On its annual return, they will shed tears, copious, gushing tears, not of subjection and slavery, not of agony and distress, but of exultation, of gratitude and of joy. Sir, before God, I believe the hour is come. My judgment approves this measure, and my whole heart is in it. All that I have, and all that I am, and all that I hope, in this life, I am now ready here to stake upon it. And I leave off as I began, that, live or die, survive or perish, I am for the Declaration. It is my living sentiment, and by the blessing of God it shall be my dying sentiment, Independence now, and INDEPENDENCE FOREVER !

The Nature of Democracy

Credit goes to our good friend and patriot M.W. Mason who brought this to my attention. It was so profound I cannot allow it to be forgotten or overlooked. Thank you for taking the time to listen. It's well worth your time. Here it goes...


In 1887 Alexander Tyler , a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior:


"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship.."


"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:


From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage."

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul , Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the last Presidential election:


Number of States won by: Obama: 19 McCain: 29
Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 McCain: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 McCain: 2..1


Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..." Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler 's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.


If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal
invaders called illegal's - and they vote - then we can say goodbye to the
USA in fewer than five years. Apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.

Move to the Middle? You first.

Despite historical examples to the contrary, conservatives have gradually been convinced that we must be more liberal and progressive in order to win the support of independents who many believe determine the outcome of elections. The purpose of my thought today, is to challenge that assertion. I start with two simple questions. First, how many moderate republicans have been elected President of The United States? Second, why would the opposition (democrats and left wing commentators) say anything to help conservative republicans win an election?


The purpose of left-wing liberal and progressive commentators like those featured on MSNBC, is to prove that conservatism is an outdated and false philosophy. Why then, should we believe their opinion when they pretend to give us a blueprint on how to win an election against the liberal politicians they support? Does anyone truly believe that their intent is to help conservatives or republicans prevail in upcoming elections? They would certainly like us to think so. John McCain was a moderate republican. He lost to Barack Obama. Bob Dole was also a moderate republican who failed to win the election. George W. Bush did not run as a moderate republican and he won two terms. Ronald Reagan did not run for president as a moderate republican and he was elected by the American people twice. Ronald Reagan is a much better blueprint for how to win the White House than Larry O' Donnell, Ed Schultz or Rachel Maddow could ever possibly be.


Reagan understood that Independents are not won by moving your party to the middle, but by uniting Republicans in a way that moves those in the middle to us. That is how he won the office of California Governor (one of the most liberal states in the union) and with the same strategy, he became President of The United States. Ronald Reagan convinced 49 out of 50 states choose conservatism over liberalism in one of the most one sided landslide victories our country has ever seen. Not because he moved to the political center but because he explained conservatism in a way that was understood by all and could not be disputed. When properly articulated, conservatism can easily trump liberalism in any debate, on any subject. The only way our opposition can hope to defeat us is through the distortion of our words and misrepresentation of our intent. We cannot allow ourselves to be persuaded by media celebrities or politicians who believe they are smarter than the American public. We cannot allow ourselves to be brainwashed by self absorbed TV personalities who believe they know what's best for the "uneducated" masses they claim to support. Those elite media personalities believe we cannot take care of ourselves if given the ability to make our own choices. They fail to recognize (or they fail to value) that our country is founded on the ability and the right of the people to choose their own destiny. We cannot subscribe to their pessimistic belief.


Whether you choose to be a democrat, a republican, a liberal, or a conservative the important thing is that you consider both sides of each argument and decide for yourself. If your convictions are based on the opinions of others who presented their opinion as fact, then I believe further consideration is due. It is difficult to have an open mind. It is even more difficult to admit when you are wrong but in my opinion, there is nothing more rewarding than changing your mind based on new information and recognizing that you have the ability to think for yourself. Please take the time to vote this November. Please take the time to research the issues and have an open mind when entertaining opposing opinions. The problem with our country is not that we disagree but that too many people don't take the time to decide for themselves. Preconceptions and misconceptions of what we already believe make it very difficult to see the actual truth if we can't allow ourselves to consider the possibility that we may be wrong. To me, reflection and self inflection are difficult but valuable traits in any person. I appreciate the time you have taken to consider my opinion but please, don't take my word for it. The decision on how to proceed is yours and yours alone.

Keep your Security, give me Liberty

As a reasonable person who pays attention to politics and the history of political elections, I understand that negative advertisements work.  I understand Romney's constant barrage of negative ads because I understand he wants to win.  My dissapointment is not so much with the way Romney proceeds with his campaign but more so with the fact that our society can be persuaded by a 60 second commercial repeated over and over.


The fact that so many people base their decisions on what they hear in a 60 second time span speaks volumes about what our society has become.  A society that daily looses free thinking Americans who are quickly replaced with those who don't mind being told what to think and do.  On the Statue of Liberty's Pedestal it reads "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."


Every day another American is convinced by their government that they need to be protected.  Every day a person with unimaginable potential resigns to the idea that they cannot succeed due to their race, gender or social status.  Who gives them this idea?  Those who claim to be their defenders and only hope.  Government, Democrats, Liberals and unfortunately the elite liberal media who pretends to support the less fortunate while supporting policies that perpetuate poverty.


Conservatives are not interested in politicians looking to buy their vote because their vote is not for sale.  We accept the personal responsibility that can result in failure or imeasurable success.  But we will not sell our childrens future to a government that cares only about itself with no regard for those who deserve our help the most, our children, their children, the America we will leave to the ones we love.  The children of America will thank us one day.  We will probably not be around to recieve their thanks but I will rest peacefully knowing I did the right thing.  Not for myself but for my country.

Mr President, Where are you?




so as we wander thru this election year i find myself having an extremely hard time rallying behind one candidate for more than a week or two. and thru all the multitude of  Bicker fest debates and gotcha ads and all the superfluous commentary in and out of the lame stream media i find my self asking this simple question.. where in the hell is our next great American President? An individual who believes the Oath of office is sacred and not a mere formality on the way to a power grab! the man that will inspire others to want to build a monument in his honor one day, the person that will unite the people of America in a common purpose of patriotic duty to once again strive to be the best country in the world!
Are there no more citizens out there who feel the fire of duty to their Country, someone who would put self gain aside in order to right a sinking ship, to restore a once great nation to the immaculate stature it once held in the world. seems a shame to watch a nation truly still in its infancy on life support because of ignorance and complacency.

so i ask again..... Mr. President where are you, men such as the man we need are standing idol while your nation is ravaged from the inside out by arrogant men and women with only their self interests at heart. our founders would roll over in their graves (and probably are) at the complete and utter disdain our current executive, legislative and judicial leaders show for the country they risked their lives and their freedom to bring to existence.
i know there are men of such caliber out there, they must be! men like Allen West, Paul Ryan or Mitch Daniels who are already doing good things but seem reluctant to accept the call of the people to lead. maybe they just don't have the time. or are fearful of the gutter dragging the MSM will surely invoke upon them if indeed they did make a run at the presidency. it is however, quite unfortunate that such a man has for whatever reason decided to allow Sycophants and liars take this nation to the precipice of utter chaos and destruction. but there comes that moment when one must set themselves upon a journey much greater than the sum of self, when the needs of a nation call to an individual to sacrifice himself so to speak to lead his country and her people back away from that proverbial ledge and set them back on the true path of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness... so again i ask...... Mr. President..... where are you and why do you not step forward and show Americans there is a way back from this destructive path the we have been set upon by the Arrogant and the impotent that have occupied the oval office and congress for the past few decades. choosing only to further their own self interests and agendas completely disregarding the interests of the American people and the country We the People love and cherish, and wish to NOT see dissolve into oblivion..
If in fact you are out there sir. i beg of you to stand up and take your place among the Patriots who formed this glorious country. stand up for the people who so graciously have awaited such a courageous individual to have the courage to become the next Great American President!

Patriotic Duty

  I always hear it said that "voting is your patriotic duty" and I think to myself how It's actually the very least of our duties.  While every legal citizen should have the right to vote, I believe our patriotic duty is something similar but different.  If someone pays attention to what's happening in the political landscape of the country, they should definitley vote for its future.  If you are indifferent towards our government and the future of this great nation I believe It's your patriotic duty not to vote.  Walk with me for a moment...


     So many people are passionate about their political beliefs but their passion ends with that.  They fail to spend time educating themselves about our constitution, our history, capitalism, economics, socialism, communism, totalitarianism, the empires that have come and gone before us, etc. They are resolute in the idea that they can make the right decision with limited information and minimal effort and once a persons mind is made up, it is not easily undone.


     When we as a nation reach a fork in the road how will you know which path to cast your vote for?  Can you make that decision knowing that your choice affects us all if you really don't know which way to go?   Its difficult to truly think for yourself sometimes when nearly everything we learn from birth to adulthood is knoweledge obtained from another human being.   Books, Television, Radio, and school teachers are just a few examples of how conditioned we are to believe what we learn from others and in many respects it has worked well.


     Our issue is with the middlemen.  Those supposedly responsible for relaying the days events and both sides of the story.  The Media in our country has been corrupted.   They are not focused on giving you the information needed to make a sound decision, they are focused on making the decision for you.  They believe they are smarter than you.  They are wrong. 

    

     It's your patriotic duty to gather information from different sometimes opposing sources.  To hear both sides of the debate and begin thinking for yourself.  Instead of repeating statements made on TV or radio, you can begin to speak for yourself.   Only then can you confidently cast a vote when our nation reaches the juncture of change.  Only then can you do so knowing the choice was yours and yours alone.  There's an entire industry (if not multiple industries) counting on you to follow the leader.  They believe they are your leader and again they are dead wrong.
